As of today, there is no direct procedure in the Czech Republic for apostilling certified translations. The established procedure involves the notarization of the translator's signature, which is present on the translation. The apostille is then placed on the notarial act. Therefore, in this case, it is the notarial certification of the translator’s signature that is being apostilled. Regrettably, there is no other alternative.

It is important to note that this apostille procedure is only applicable to a translation prepared by an official translator based in the Czech Republic (these are often referred to as court-sworn translators). If the translation was performed by a translator in another country, the apostille for that translation would need to be procured in that specific country.
