Official verification via the Czech Ministry of Justice website (Trade Register)
To be straightforward: the process involves several steps. On this page, we’ll guide you through verifying a Czech company’s existence and details as efficiently as possible.
The Czech register of legal entities is public. This means that you can check an organization's existence by its name, as well as verify all company details (such as legal address, identities of directors and founders, and more).
Here is the link to the official website of the Czech Ministry of Justice:
VISIT THE WEBSITE (https://or.justice.cz/)
This is the official website of the Czech register of legal entities (Trade Register), where you can search for a legal entity. Use the search field on the website to look up entities by company name or registration number (you need to enter one of these).
For a test search, try our company details:
- Company name: RusCzech or
- Registration number: 24312134
Click the "Hledat" button to start the search process. You will then see the search results. For example, searching for our company will bring up a page with the results like this:

The results show basic information (name, registration number, date of establishment, legal address) and clearly indicate if the legal entity exists, confirming its current status. If the company is inactive, you will see the note "V likvidaci", which means the company is being dissolved.
If you require a physical (paper) extract for a legal entity, we can assist you in obtaining it.

After conducting your search, the results page displays three primary links:
• "Výpis platných" shows extended CURRENT information about the organization as of today. This page includes basic company details and information about founders, directors, registered capital amount, and more.
• "Úplný výpis" provides FULL HISTORY of all changes made to the legal entity, including ownership transfers, changes of legal address, company name updates, and dates of modifications.
• "Sbírka listin" includes the archive of the legal entity's documents. By law, certain documents must be publicly accessible, such as founding documents, financial statements, and sometimes share transfer agreements. This section contains what the legal entity has published in this archive.
Understanding Czech Trade Register extracts
All information on the Czech Ministry of Justice website is available exclusively in Czech, which can be difficult for non-Czech speakers. We have created a separate page with detailed explanations to help you understand the information in the extract.
