Requirements for obtaining documents from the Czech Republic

The necessary requirements depend on the document you request and which registry or government office it comes from.

The first scenario involves obtaining documents from public registries in the Czech Republic. Public registries are accessible to anyone who requests information. This includes the Czech Trade Register (for legal entities), Business Register of Entrepreneurs, and Real Estate Cadastre. In these cases, we only need basic information about the person or entity you're inquiring about.

The second scenario is when we retrieve documents that contain personal information from restricted registries. These restricted registries only allow access to the individual or organization concerned, or a third party with a power of attorney. This category includes all papers from Czech registry offices and criminal record certificates from the Czech Republic. In such cases, we will need a power of attorney from the individual in question (or their relatives). The power of attorney can always be arranged – we have solutions for every situation.

Finally, the third situation is when we certify something directly from the person themselves, for example, a power of attorney or a copy of a personal document. In these rare cases, the person will need to be present in person, usually at a notary's office.


How quickly can documents be obtained from the Czech Republic?

Processing is generally quick; however, it depends on the document type and the registry it comes from.

For public registry documents that require no special authorization, we can usually get them very fast, typically within 1-2 business days. We always work as quickly as possible.

When procedure need a power of attorney, additional time will be needed to notarize and deliver it to the Czech Republic.
